About Me
I’m a digital publisher and small business owner based in Guttenberg, New Jersey. After graduating from Baruch College, I spent the last three years building KartiKart.com, a minimalist jewelry brand that donates 5% of every sale to fighting human trafficking.
Along the way, I discovered a passion for building niche information sites that help people navigate topics that are often confusing, full of jargon, or buried behind paywalls. That passion turned into a growing network of free resource sites — each focused on a specific topic where I felt everyday people deserved better, more transparent information.
My approach is simple: research deeply, present clearly, and never charge for information that should be freely accessible.
Building My Driver Rights
I started My Driver Rights because getting pulled over, refusing a test, or finding out the car you bought has a hidden problem raises the same questions for almost everyone – can they search my car, do I have to show ID, what does refusing cost me, is this even a legal checkpoint, is my car a lemon, can I get my car back after a repossession, and what do I still owe – and there was no one place that answered them with the real state rule and the real deadline instead of a law firm’s intake form or a template page. The firm sites cover one state and bury the suspension length; the template sites print the same page for every state with no statute and no date; and on the car questions the top result is a forum thread, because nobody wrote the page. I built this site to be the driver-first authority on what the state actually allows: every state gets guides with the real search rule, the real refusal penalty, the checkpoint status, the lemon presumption, the repossession cure window and the impound deadline, each with the statute and the date we verified it; and there are free tools to get a one-page rights card for your state, estimate a lemon-law buyback, check whether your car meets the lemon presumption, and estimate what you may still owe after a repossession. We are not a law firm, not a police department and not a government agency, and we never tell you whether to consent to a search or take a test – we tell you what your state says happens either way. If you were just pulled over, or something is wrong with the car you own, this is the resource I wish existed.
